Charming atmosphere, especially with its cozy outdoor seating that’s perfect for sunny days. The gastro-pub vibe, filled with mouth-watering cuisine, really captures the essence of a perfect eatery in a picturesque Cheshire village.
Unfortunately, the heating in the room didn’t work, leading to a rather chilly stay until it got sorted, which took some time. The decor felt outdated, both in the rooms and hallways, and I noticed a few small maintenance issues like broken fixtures and cleanliness concerns, such as hair in the bed and a stained carpet. While the bustling atmosphere in the pub is lively, the dining experience could feel a bit compromised if there’s a long wait for food, especially when it’s a busy evening.

perfect before the big day
We stayed in a fab double room the night before my wedding and it couldn’t have been better. The staff were super friendly and made brekkie happen an hour earlier for us – total lifesaver! The food at dinner was top-notch. A little noisy at night with a pub crowd, but nothing too serious.

A delightful experience with lovely, interesting food, including Belgian waffles that were a highlight. The ambiance was lively, although the music felt somewhat unnecessary. Friendly staff made for a welcoming atmosphere. The attractive car park and relaxing al fresco bar garden added to the charm.

It was just a great fit for a brief sojourn in Knutsford with all in all brilliant value for money. I ordered a vegetarian halloumi salad, and while it didn't meet my expectations, the service was quick and attentive when I mentioned my disappointment. Plan to try the meals early to avoid running into menu shortages later in the day.
